Choose the "Preferences…" command from the "Edit" main menu; the following "Preferences" dialog appears:
In this dialog box, you can set the default duration for the newly created live, dummy and image items; set up the auto delete and auto update EPG parameters, and define other settings.
When specifying an item default duration, note that it cannot be less than 0.5 seconds.
Live and dummy items are explained in detail in this article.
Select the "Auto-propagate metadata to a program" option to enable automatic substitution of the specified metadata to the program properties.
Select the "Use italic font for the editable fields" option to use the italic fonts in all editable fields of the playlist.
With the "Consider ‘Live’ as End of Automation" option enabled, the next live item start time is considered as a starting point for the "End of automation" countdown field. Otherwise, this countdown shows the time left until the end of automation.
The "Preview secondary events" option enables/disables the Cinegy Type and Cinegy Titler secondary events rendering within the built-in clip viewer.
Automatic Opt-Out and Multichannel Variation Blocks
Specify the background highlight color for the automatic opt-out and multichannel variation blocks in the playlist in the "Automatic Opt-out blocks color" and "Multichannel variation blocks color" fields respectively. The "Limit per hour" field defines the maximum number of minutes per hour for advertising. While the amount of advertising time does not exceed this limit, the variance value highlighted in blue color is displayed in the playlist beneath the block duration. If advertising time exceeds this limit, its variance value becomes highlighted in red:
The "Auto Delete" option does not affect the work in playlist editor mode.
The "Auto delete" preferences allow you to set the following parameters:
The "Max expired" option defines how many expired items will still be present in the playlist before the expired items automatic deletion.
The "Delete number" option defines how many expired items will be automatically deleted from the playlist.
Set the "Max expired" value to zero to disable the auto deleting process.
Auto Update EPG
The "Auto Update EPG" option does not affect the work in playlist editor mode.
The "Enable" option enables the auto update EPG option. Select the "Enable in Offline" option to enable automatic updating when offline.
The "Update delay" option defines the delay time in seconds before updating the EPG.
Select the "Use 5 min approximation for EPG" parameter to enable this option. The program will start at a time divisible by 5 min. For example, if the actual program start time is "09:23:00:00", the corresponding EPG item will start at "09:25:00:00".
