Animation is the result of changing the object properties over time. For example, you can animate the "Position" property of the object to make it move from one position to another.
Each change of property in time is represented as a separate animation channel. They are shown in the tree view for their respective object.

By default, each object, added to the scene, is represented with just a single animation channel representing visibility. Marquee and Roll objects also automatically insert an animation channel for controlling the sliding position of the text on the frame. Extra values can be added or replace these values, but at least one channel with duration for any object must exist within a scene.
