Licensing

The Cinegy License Service, a dedicated service that deals with dongle interaction, is required to provide Cinegy Capture engine with access to the information stored inside the hardware dongle.

The Cinegy License Service is installed as a Windows Service during Cinegy Capture installation.

A hardware dongle is required to be connected to the machine running Cinegy Capture engines.

If the hardware dongle is not connected, not found, or no license is available on the detected dongle, Cinegy Capture will work in demo mode with all the features enabled but with the "Cinegy Demo Version" watermark in the middle of the input stream.

If the dongle is removed or undetected, the physical machine will start beeping indicating this error.
