Cinegy Convert components require valid established connection to Cinegy Process Coordination service. By default the configuration is set to connect to PCS service installed locally on the same machine (localhost) and use the default port 8555. In case PCS is installed on another machine or another port should be used please change the corresponding parameter in the settings XML file.

Note
If Cinegy PCS and Cinegy Convert are installed on one computer, you need to skip this step.

To launch Cinegy Convert Agent Manager, go to Start > All Programs > Cinegy > Convert Agent Manager if a hardware dongle and/or license is available.

Note
If no hardware dongle or license is available, please launch (Demo) Convert Agent Manager instead.

Press the cfg_buttonbutton on the bottom right part of the window. Choose the "Open settings file" command:

Caution
The application should be closed before saving changes to "settings.xml" file. Otherwise changes in the settings will be overwritten.

The following parameter should be modified:

<StorageEndpoint>http://[machine name]:[port]/CinegyProcessCoordinationService/ICinegyProcessCoordinationService/soap</StorageEndpoint>

where:

machine name – specifies the name or IP address of the machine where PCS is installed;

port – specifies the connection port configured in PCS settings.

Cinegy Convert Client and Cinegy Convert Watch Service should be configured in the same way.
