Publish to YouTube Profile

The YouTube export profile performs media encoding into the corresponding social media recommended format and publishing it into YouTube channels.
To be able to configure this profile you need to sign into YouTube with your Google Account by pressing the "Log in" button and entering your data.

You will be asked to provide Cinegy Convert with access to some YouTube activities which should be accepted. |
Once you have logged in, set up the profile in the following configuration window:

In case of error detection, e.g., blank mandatory fields, a red indicator appears specifying their number. Hovering the mouse pointer over the indicator displays a tooltip describing the problem(s). |
Generic Configuration
In the "Generic" configuration group define the following parameters:

Name – define the profile name.

Description – enter the profile description, if needed.
Encoding Settings
Video and audio tracks can be configured in the "Encoding settings" configuration group.
Video Track

According to YouTube recommendations for media optimization, the video codec can only be set either to H.264 or H.264 NVIDIA GPU. |
Press the icon next to the "Video track" field and choose the required video format from the drop-down list:

The "Advanced" option allows the user to configure the codec parameters within the limits defined by YouTube. |
The default parameters of the video track can be individually adjusted if needed. Press the button to expand the video track block:

Audio Track

Press the icon next to the "Audio track" field to choose the available audio format from the drop-down list:

Local Media Configuration
Press the icon in the "Local media path" field and navigate to the local storage of encoded media for publishing.
If the "Clear local media" checkbox is set, the local media file will be deleted immediately after publishing on YouTube.
Publisher
In this section you may define the publisher’s information:

Title – enter the video title.

Description – enter the video description.

Tags – a list of keyword tags associated with the video. Tags may contain spaces.

Privacy – set the privacy of the uploaded media file:

Private – private videos and playlists can only be seen by you and the people you choose. Your private videos will not appear to others who visit the "Videos" tab of your channel page. They also will not show up in YouTube search results.

Unlisted – unlisted videos and playlists can be seen and shared by anyone with the link. Your unlisted videos will not appear to others who visit the "Videos" tab of your channel page. They will not show up in YouTube search results unless someone adds your unlisted video to a public playlist.

Public – public videos can be seen by anyone on YouTube. They can also be shared with anyone using YouTube. They are posted on your channel when you upload them and show up in YouTube search results and related video lists.

Scheduled – when "Scheduled" is selected, the new parameter "Scheduled publish at" will appear, where you can set the date and time of publishing the file.

Recording date – set the recording date of the file by clicking the icon next to the "Recording date" field and then pressing the "Create" button.

Video category – activate this checkbox and choose the YouTube category for your video from the drop-down list; otherwise, the default channel category is used.

Playlist – activate this checkbox to associate your video with the YouTube playlist selected from the drop-down list.

Intended for children – activate this checkbox if children are the primary audience for your video.

Thumbnail – press the icon in the "Thumbnail" field and select a thumbnail image.
Source Transformation
Click the icon next to the "Video crop" field and then press the "Create" button:
Now you can set the cropping area for your video file:
Define the coordinates of the top left corner as well as the width and the height of the output rectangle in the corresponding fields.
Having defined all the profile parameters, press "OK"; the configured profile will be added to the list.
