The commands available from the toolbar located on top are described below.
The "Layout" command allows you to choose a single scope or one of the offered combinations of scopes for video analyzing from the pull-down list.
The list of layouts is also available from the context menu.
|The purposes of the different video scopes are described below.|
Video Analyzer Settings
This button allows you to set up the video analyzer settings. The configuration dialog is also available from the "Setup…" context menu command.
The video analyzer settings menu consists of two tabs: the "General" tab and the "Video Scopes" tab.
Here you can specify the list of video analyzer scopes for displaying when the "Custom" layout is selected.
Here you can adjust the color intensity of the video scopes. Intensity control sets the brightness of the vectorscope, YC waveform and parade visualizations only and has no affect on the original video imaging.
As an example, the image below shows a parade scope for the same frame with two different intensity settings.
The parade with intensity value specified as 10% (10 of 100)
The parade with intensity value specified as 90% (90 of 100)
Video Scopes Tab
Here you can define the video scopes settings. The description of each scope setting is given below.
Select the "7.5 IRE" option to define the black level limit at 7.5 IRE for NTSC video format.
Select the "Chroma" option to enable the chrominance visualization over the luma waveform.
Here you can define the color visualization model (YCrCb or RGB) for analyzing the input video signal via the parade video scope.
Here you can set the gain level for the primary target (75% or 100%). The "Second target" checkbox only becomes available when using the 100% target mode.
Here you can define the color visualization model (YCrCb or RGB) for analyzing the input video signal via the histogram analyzer.
