To preview all the input files and video streams, a USB hardware dongle with the corresponding license is required.

When an input source is added while a valid dongle is missing or the number of configured input sources is higher than the license allows, their content cannot be sent to output. The "No License" sign is displayed on both the input player and the preview screens:

Without a dongle, there is a "Cinegy Demo Version" message imprinted and the application is limited to contain up to 4 input sources.

If the dongle is removed or becomes undetected, a warning appears on the output screen and the "License lost!" starts blinking indicating this error:

Missing license

If the license is not detected for a certain period of time, the system switches to demo mode, the "Cinegy Demo Version" message is added to the output screen and only four input sources remain available.

Once the license is detected, the system automatically starts working normally.
