Running the Setup.exe file installs Cinegy Multiviewer as an application. Cinegy Multiviewer can also be installed as a Windows service. The service will automatically launch Cinegy Multiviewer after a system restart or in case of an unexpected error.

The service can be installed under the local user account by setting the radio button to the "Local system account" option in the "Service Logon" section of the "Service Management" tab. To install the service under a different user account, set the radio button to the "This account" option, enter the user name in the field next to it and the password in the field below.

To install it as a Windows service, press the "Install service" button. If the entered data on a different account is invalid or this account does not exist, a warning message appears:

To start the service, press the "Start" button:

The Multiviewer service can be started in "MPEG-TS Output", "No Output", "NDI Output" or "Shared RAM Output" modes. On the attempt to start Cinegy Multiviewer in "Windows Output" mode as a Windows service, the corresponding error message will appear informing you that it is not possible:
svc_mngmnt_windows_output

In case there are any unapplied changes in the previous configuration, the confirmation message appears asking you to apply the settings:

svc_mngmnt_apply_settings

Press "Yes" to apply the Multiviewer settings and start the service or "No" to cancel the service start.

You can stop the Cinegy Multiviewer service by pressing the "Stop" button on the "Service Management" tab or by pressing "Stop" in the "Computer Management" window.

To uninstall the Cinegy Multiviewer service, use the "Uninstall service" button.

The service statuses are indicated with the following colors:

The stopped service status is shown in red.

The running service status is shown in green.

When the service is being started/stopped, its status is shown in yellow.

Gray is used to indicate that the service is not installed.
