The Cinegy Subtitling Service is a part of the common Cinegy workflow and can be used together with Cinegy Air for on-the-fly embedding of DVB Bitmap and/or Teletext data into a source IP stream, based on a subtitle file or Live (by using Newfor protocol). This service is implemented as a sidecar to the main Cinegy Air service.

Note
To work with the Cinegy Subtitling Service, the installation of Powershell version 7.2 or higher is required.

Major New Fixes

  • implemented proper handling of subtitle multiplexer overflow

  • fixed a PCR accuracy of the output stream

  • fixed issue where ignoring the ticks frequency caused a time shift on some CPUs

  • fixed incorrect handling of top-right positioning (an9) by TTX encoder when reading from STL file (defect 16189)

  • fixed possible crash of Cinegy License Manager

  • updated Cinecoder.Plugin.Subtitling to version 1.266.0.387

  • fixed PID error occurred for simulcast output (defect 16173)

  • fixed issue with displaying the second stream after a single restart of the service when using multi-channel configuration or two streams for one channel (defect 15223)

  • fixed issue with continuing teletext encoding when the following item without SubtitleID is started (defect 13933)

  • fixed issue when timecodes from the previous shorter item were applied to subtitles causing their display in unassigned time (defect 14709)

  • fixed extremely low position of subtitles on the screen in some STL files (defect 16292, ticket FMB-516-83305)

  • fixed service clock synchronization issue on some Xeon CPUs (defect 16231)

  • In some cases, there may be a problem with special characters in teletext in some European languages.
