Cinegy Multiviewer 22.10 Release 3 Release Candidate

Cinegy Multiviewer Release: 22.10 R3 RC

Cinegy Multiviewer Build: 22.10.176.15886

Cinegy Cinecoder Version: 3.34.41.47915

Cinegy ML Version: 7.5.55484.1215

Release Date: December 8, 2022

Caution
Cinegy Multiviewer version 22.10 contains support for the latest NVIDIA boards which are only supported in newer NVIDIA drivers which, in turn, require a newer SDK to be utilized. This therefore means that the Cinegy Multiviewer v22.10 release requires a minimum NVIDIA driver version 452.39. Until other Cinegy software products (such as Cinegy Capture) are updated to utilize the newer NVIDIA SDK, customers should, where possible, avoid running them on the same machine as Cinegy Multiviewer. Please ensure that you have confirmed that the OS under which you are running Cinegy Multiviewer and the model of NVIDIA board which you are using are supported in the version of the NVIDIA driver you choose before starting any upgrades.
Caution
Before you start the installation, it is recommended to uninstall any previous versions of Cinegy Multiviewer components that you may have on your machine.
Note
This release of Cinegy Multiviewer tightens the enforcement of licenses in certain multi-layout usage scenarios. You must have enough licenses available to service all player elements in all active Cinegy Multiviewer layouts to remain within the terms of your licensed entitlement.
Important
Please read the Cinegy Multiviewer 22 – What’s New post to get acquainted with information about new useful features and important enhancements in Cinegy Multiviewer v22.10.

New Major Fixes

  • fixed issue where changes applied in Layout Designer caused Cinegy Multiviewer to restart and then players displayed the "No License" message (defect 16003, ticket OTD-489-71906)

  • fixed issue with display of splash screen for Cinegy Multiviewer components (defects 15907, 15959)

  • fixed possible crash when mixed audio streams (24 kHz and 48 kHz) where used while RTP Output was active

Important Known Issues

Note
These limitations will be addressed in the next releases.
  • NVIDIA RTX and other Turing-generation GPU boards no longer support interlace H.264 encoding. This applies to all versions of any Cinegy software supporting GPU encoding and is a hardware limitation of the NVIDIA boards. Pascal and earlier boards are not affected. If using GPU accelerated NVIDIA features, please be careful to match your settings to the capabilities of your board.
