The Cinegy Subtitling Service is a part of the common Cinegy workflow and can be used together with Cinegy Air for on-the-fly embedding of DVB Bitmap and/or Teletext data into a source IP stream, based on a subtitle file or Live (by using the Newfor protocol). This service is implemented as a sidecar to the main Cinegy Air service.

Note
 To work with the Cinegy Subtitling Service, the installation of Powershell version 7.2 or higher is required.

New Features and Fixes

  • fixed issue where the magenta color specified in the SRT subtitle file could not be decoded/applied (defect 16402)

  • fixed issue with {\a10} tag defining the middle center alignment in SRT subtitles (defect 16408)

Major Features

  • added ability to insert several Teletext pages with the same PID to a single stream (US 7387)

  • supported text formatting for DVB encoder (US 7181)

  • various bug fixing and stability improvements

  • Some diacritics are displayed as Latin characters.
