  • updated C++ redistributable X64 package in the installation wizard (US 7692)

  • fixed issue where canceling color selection on the canvas without applying it in eyedropper mode caused both the "Selected Color" cell and the object color on the canvas to revert to the initial color instead of the last picked color from the palette (defect 17068)

  • fixed Cinegy Title Editor application crash after deleting a variable on the "Variables" tab if the variable was used in an object’s text field as ${File} more than once (defect 17145)

  • fixed incorrect application behavior starting Cinegy Title Editor if it has been minimized and closed from the taskbar before (defect 17257)

  • fixed undoing of the color selection in the "Select color" window after canceling the eyedropper mode (defect 17399)

  • introduced minor UI improvements (defects 17344, 17396)

Upgrade Notes

  • Before the installation it is required to manually uninstall all Cinegy Titler components that you may have on your machine if the currently installed version is 21.2 or lower.

Important Known Issues

  • The functionality of the "Run" option for plates is currently in the beta stage. Please be aware there may be issues with functionality in this release, previous functionality is unaffected.

  • Colors in semi-transparent areas within the media file used in the Cinegy Title template are displayed incorrectly if the color specified in the "Source Matted With Color" parameter is not black. The issue occurs for the Straight and Premultiplied rendering modes when previewing secondary events (Cinegy CG preview in the "Load Template" window, Clip viewer preview) and Sequences (Cinegy Title template as a main item) output. We recommend generating media files with Premultiplied alpha using the black background and do not change the black color in the "Source Matted With Color" parameter in the Cinegy Title template.
