Major Improvements

  • added a new WebRTC-based protocol that supports automatic bitrate and framerate reduction based on network quality

  • added support of AV1 encoding for native pipeline

  • added support for VP8, VP9, and AV1 codecs in the WebRTC CPU media pipeline

  • enabled data transmission via a relay (TURN) server

  • added the ability to edit the connection in saved settings

  • introduced push notifications about connection status whenever a new client connects to the host machine

  • added the display of connected clients in the tray context menu

  • implemented the storage of recent connections and their passwords in AppData for each user

  • added manual selection of the TCP protocol for media data transmission as an alternative to UDP for local networks and high-bitrate transmissions

  • fixed handling of connection loss with signaling server

  • fixed and optimized decoding on Intel iGPUs

Known Issues and Limitations

  • Currently, only one client can connect to the host machine.
