Upgrade Notes

  • Before the installation, it is recommended that you manually uninstall all Cinegy Multiviewer components on your machine.

  • Please note that during the installation of Cinegy Multiviewer, some dependencies, such as .NET Framework 4.8, may be installed automatically if they are missing. In some cases, this may result in the system being restarted or even force-rebooted without warning before the installation of Cinegy Multiviewer is completed.

  • The minimal supported NVIDIA driver version is 456.81. Please perform the process of NVIDIA drivers update only upon stopping Cinegy applications. For detailed instructions on installing an NVIDIA driver, please refer to the NVIDIA Drivers installation article.

Important Known Issues

  • Audible alarms for License alert events may not activate under certain circumstances (defect 17614).

  • If you are using GPU-accelerated NVIDIA features, please ensure that your settings match the capabilities of your specific board. Due to an NVIDIA hardware restriction, interlaced H.264 encoding is only supported on Pascal and earlier boards and also on Blackwell GPUs.

  • Blackmagic Design DeckLink video cards occasionally play video without sound or with distorted sound on output. Before using Blackmagic Design DeckLink cards for critical installations 24/7, extensive testing must be carried out in advance.

  • Cinegy Multiviewer v27 requires installation of Cinegy Route v24.4 that uses IGMP v3 which is a requirement for SSM (Source Specific Multicast). Using an older version of Cinegy Route Directory Service will cause the "Source IP" checkbox to become unavailable.
