Caution
 It is strongly recommended that you never use any third-party tools to modify the Cinegy Archive database. Any damage caused by such actions is not covered by the official support policy. For database modifications, it is recommended to use only Cinegy-provided tools or Cinegy-provided APIs.

  • added MVX files cleanup for H.264 files during essence cleaning when the essence file is MVX (US 7095)

  • added node icons for MOS objects (US 6999, defect 15235)

– General Improvements

  • increased timeout value in CAM (ticket FFO-898-13403)

  • corrected display of authors and presenters in the corresponding lists in Cinegy Desktop (defects 14133, 15286, 15347, 15348)

  • removed "Audit" section in the Global parameters for mam16 databases (defect 15734)

  • removed "Use corrector" feature from the "Search" section in the Global parameters used for enabling the fuzzy search in Cinegy Desktop

  • fixed issue that prevented deleting a specific client’s network share (defect 15098, ticket TFE-503-56906)

  • fixed issue when the populated list of "Essences without MOGs" contains media for the not yet registered Roll (defect 15012, ticket ICW-575-24948)

  • fixed issue with creating a list of broken links by using the "Populate a list" button (defect 15245)

  • fixed error that occurred when changing the "Search Cache" value in the "Global Settings" tab for mam16 databases (defect 16854)

  • fixed issue requiring administrative rights to save settings by relocating the settings file to C:\ProgramData\Cinegy\CinegyArchiveManager\config.xml (defect 16848)

  • added several stability and performance fixes (defects 15242, 15263, 15266, 15267, 16862)

  • renamed the "Edit a Type template" option to "Edit a CG template" in the "Permissions and Security" section (US 7648)

  • added minor interface improvements (US 7594, defects 17110, 17280)

  • rebranded the application icon (US 7628)

Known Limitations

Note
 These limitations will be addressed in the next releases.

  • Before installing Cinegy Archive v25, it is required to uninstall any previous versions of Cinegy Archive components that you may have on your machine and install the Cinegy License Service included in the Cinegy Archive installation package.

  • Never use the same network share for different media groups. If you are upgrading the Cinegy Archive database to mam16 via Cinegy Archive Database Wizard, the media shares assigned to several media groups will cause application errors and prevent other applications like Cinegy Capture from saving recordings to the database. It is recommended to check network shares assigned to media groups before upgrading the database.
