In the "Database connection" tab, the default SQL Server connection parameters are displayed or can be changed according to your needs, if necessary:

In the "Database connection" tab, the default SQL Server connection parameters are displayed:

SQL Server – the existing SQL Server instance name. To change the instance name, enter the required value using the keyboard.

Caution
Please pay special attention that it is not recommended to use the default SQL Server instance. Please define your own database for production purposes.
Database name – the current database name. To change the database name, enter the required value using the keyboard.

Note	Please note that the database settings cannot be saved until all required fields are filled in; the red indicator shows a tooltip explaining the reason why settings cannot be applied.

Note	Please note that having modified one parameter, it is necessary to position the mouse pointer to the other field; otherwise, the "Apply" button will be grayed out and the changes will not be saved.
