RTP/UDP/SRT Input
Reading time ~2 minutes
In case when input device is not defined, the source URL specified in the "Default URL" field will be used as default for the live items. This can be changed manually for each particular live item in the "Item Properties" dialog box. When the default URL is not defined, the black frame is broadcast for the live item instead.
Use the "Multicast interface" drop-down list to define the adapters that will be used to get the stream. Select the "All" option to use all adapters; otherwise, choose a local machine’s IP address, which may be useful when you need to divide the multicasting subnet from the working subnet.
Select the "Listen for SCTE35/104 cueing stream" option to enable listening for SCTE-35/104 packets for working with automatic opt-out blocks.
Important
|
Refer to the Automatic Opt-Out article in the Cinegy Air Manual for the detailed description of work with automatic opt-out blocks. |
Choose one of the following options:
-
Device number – select this setting if you are using an SDI input and define the corresponding input number configured in the "Playback" tab.
-
URL – select this setting if IP input is used and enter the RTP, UDP, or SRT URL for the source channel to be used as the live input.
Then configure the following settings:
-
Out of network offset – set the value in range from -10000 to 10000 milliseconds to define the offset for an automatic opt-out block.
-
In network offset – set the value in range from -10000 to 10000 milliseconds to define the offset for a live event following an automatic opt-out block.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot connect remotely to the Cinegy Playout engine when it is running, please make sure that Windows Firewall is not blocking the inbound traffic on the 5321 TCP port for the PlayoutExApp.exe application.
In order to see the live feedback from remote Cinegy Playout in the Cinegy Air or Cinegy Studio control applications, or let Cinegy Playout receive RTP streams, please make sure your Windows Firewall allows incoming UDP connections on all ports.
