Find On-Air
|
Pressing this button brings the on-air item to the middle of the visible playlist window. This is especially useful when you are editing a distant point in the list and want to quickly go back to the active on-air item. Press this button once to highlight the on-air item in the playlist and its current playback marker to be automatically focused in the center of the timeline; the "ON AIR" button caption will be displayed in red. Click the "ON AIR" button once more to release the display lock. With the broadcast proceeding, the on-air item will gradually shift down. The "ON AIR" button caption will be displayed in green. The display lock is released automatically when user starts scrolling the playlist. |

This function does not affect playout; it simply navigates through the playlist and the timeline. |
The "Find on-air" command is also available from the "Edit" main menu.

End of Automation
This menu allows the operator to find the next manual triggered item in the playlist and jump into its position (this command does not affect skipped items). It shows the time left before the end of the automation and the event type (if there are any manual end items left in the current playlist).
|
If there are no more manual triggered items, it shows just the time left to the first gap (if any) or to the playlist end. In this case, the event shows the empty status icon. |
Next Command
This menu allows the operator to find the item with the secondary event scheduled next and jump into its position. It shows the time left until the secondary event will be sent to the device. You can cancel the specified event transmission by pressing the "Skip" button.
The "Next command" operation does not affect skipped items. If there are no items in the playlist with the set secondary event(s), this menu is not available and is not highlighted.
On-Air Play Management Buttons
CG Off
|
All graphics used in the current playlist can be switched off with a single button. As a result, they will not be shown on playout. To turn off all graphics, use the "CG Off" button. To enable showing graphics on playout, press this button one more time. |
Bypass
|
The "Bypass" button immediately switches the defined input device to pass-through mode. The video signal goes from the input device to the output device without affecting Cinegy Air. At the same time, Cinegy Air continues its work as before: the items keep proxying, the countdown timer goes on counting the time to start, the secondary events are sent normally and the playlist keeps playing in accordance with the current time. To leave this mode, just press the "Bypass" button once again and Cinegy Air will broadcast from the playlist according to the time-schedule. |
Important
|
Refer to the Configuration section for details about the playout device configuration. |
Black
|
The playout server displays a black screen in this mode. The playlist will be moved on automatically in accordance with the current time, and secondary events will continue to be sent. Press the "Black" button once again and Cinegy Air will broadcast from the playlist according to the time-schedule. |
Go On
|
Stops the current manual end item playback. This button becomes active when the scheduled time of manual end item playback is over. This item continues its playback until the "Go on" button is pressed. |
Note
|
This button is deactivated if the "Disable control buttons" option is selected in the "Playout" main menu. See the option description for more details. |
Break
|
This command interrupts the broadcast of the current on-air item and inserts a Live event at the time the button is pressed. The second part of the interrupted item is inserted in the playlist below the Live event and its new start time equals the time of the cut. |
Note
|
The inserted Live event duration equals the default value set in the preferences. |
