Capture Desktop Edition mode licensing is based on the Cinegy Desktop application.

For Cinegy Capture Desktop Edition mode to be enabled, a separate corresponding software Desktop license is required. The license name along with its status is displayed on the "Main" Cinegy Capture Manager panel:


If Cinegy Desktop is not running on the machine, all Capture Desktop Edition mode functions are disabled and the "No license" status is displayed:


In Capture Desktop Edition only one Capture Service can be run. The recording can be initiated on condition that Cinegy Desktop is installed and running on the same machine. Once the Cinegy Desktop application is not detected or is not running on the machine, Capture Engine does not initiate any new recording and aborts an existing recording session, if any.

Capture Desktop Edition mode provides the same capability resource features as Capture Pro.
