Working With Titles

Cinegy Titler allows you to add multiple layers of automation controlled, template based titles, logos, animated graphics, and more. This module addresses simple requirements such as logo insertion right through to complex branding with templated information and animated video plates.
Creating a Template
To create a new Cinegy Titler template, follow the steps:

Open the DocumentBin in which you want the template to be located.

Choose the "New Cinegy Titler …" command from the right-click menu or press the button in the menu bar of the DocumentBin; the "New Titler" dialog box appears:

Enter a unique name for the Cinegy Titler template.

Choose the appropriate TV format for the template. It must be the same format, as that of the Sequence in which it will be used. Otherwise you will encounter an insertion error.

Having assigned all the parameters, press "OK". The Cinegy Titler template will be created in the DocumentBin.

Now you can start working with your new template. Double-click it in the DocumentBin, the following window will be opened:
This Titler plug-in window allows you to edit the template or import the previously created Cinegy Titler template. These two options are described in detail below.
Editing Cinegy Titler Template
Having created the Cinegy Titler template, you can edit it. Press the "Edit template" button, the full-featured Cinegy Titler Editor will be launched allowing you to modify any parameter of your Cinegy Titler template according to your needs.

Having made changes in the Cinegy Titler template, you can apply them by using the "Apply & Close" command from the "File" menu. The external Cinegy Titler editor will be closed and changes will be applied to the template in the DocumentBin. If you do not want to apply changes, use the "Discard & Close" command.
To save the Cinegy Titler template file, use the "Save as…" command from the "File" menu. Cinegy Titler template can also be saved as a bundle, i.e. the full package containing the Cinegy Titler template file and all its related assets will be created. For this use the "Save as bundle…" command.
Cinegy Titler Template Import
If you have previously created Cinegy Titler templates, they can be imported for further use in Cinegy Desktop. For this use the "Import" button on the plug-in toolbar. The following dialog will be open:
In the "Source" field define the path to the previously created Cinegy Titler template. You can do this manually or via "…" button. Then press the "…" button near the "Target" field, the following "Select target" window will be open:
Here navigate to the previously created DocumentBin where Cinegy Titler template will be imported to. Press "OK" to select the DocumentBin.
It is possible to select a folder as target. In this case the DocumentBin will be automatically created within the selected folder. The name of the Cinegy Titler template being imported will be assigned as newly created DocumentBin name.
Having defined both source and target for the template, press "OK" to start import. After import is finished, the Cinegy Titler template along with all media files used in this template will be placed in the defined DocumentBin.
Adding Template into Sequence
To add the Cinegy Titler template to the Sequence, open the DocumentBin containing the Cinegy Titler template(s) and drag-and-drop the desired template to Timeline. It will be added to the video track you select on Timeline.
Template Editing on Timeline
The Cinegy Titler templates added to the Timeline project can be edited directly from Timeline. This will not affect the original Cinegy Titler object in the DocumentBin.
To do this, double-click the CG scene on the corresponding track on Timeline. The full-featured Cinegy Titler Editor will be launched allowing you to modify any parameter of your Cinegy Titler template according to your needs.

The "Titler plugin" window appears:
Here you can preview the template using playback controls at the bottom of the window or open the external Cinegy Titler Editor for template editing using the "Edit template" button.
